"We were totally thrilled with the food, and Mike. He did an incredible job. He was a great caterer, with a huge personality. We were 100% pleased, and our guests were 100% satisfied. The menu was incredible, and everything was perfect.
Mike worked very hard. The food plates were always full and flowing. He picked up so well that it only took me a few minutes to do the final touches in the kitchen!
We would love to have you cater future events! We told Mike that we have 3 summer birthdays that we want to celebrate with one big hooray! Most likely we’ll be giving you a call.
Thanks for the great customer service. It was all very easy! I’d say A+ if it weren’t for the Bears losing........."

Katie and Gerald did an amazing job. Every morsel was fantastic and we had 30ish people packed in on a rainy day. I found plenty o’ mugs and no one suffered caffeine withdrawal resultantly.
Please know that we all appreciated it and so many folks would now love to come to the restaurant. Group hugs all around.
They did such a nice job setting up/cooking/serving and cleaning up without any fuss and it was such delectable bites for everyone. We will keep you on speed dial for many a parties and celebrations to come. Loved it!
Thank-you and all those who prepared the food for making it happen.
Best,

Dear John,
We are writing this unsolicited letter because we believe it will help parents who are in seeking to provide a beautiful wedding reception for their daughter but also wish to participate in planning and are somewhat cost conscious. We had an experience in San Diego (before our daughter decided to postpone and move the wedding to Seattle) where the perspective caterer had the attitude that the money was no object, just give us a blank check and we’ll do the rest. John Platt was a refreshing change when we arrived in Seattle.
We met you about two months prior to the wedding at the site of the reception and drafted an initial plan. You revised it a number of times along the way to cater to our personal taste and desire to maintain some sense of budget. Even though we were nearly 3,000 miles away, you remained in constant contact via email. You were most helpful in the offerings suggestions relative to all aspects of the reception not just those to which you were contractually committed. You personally attended the to all the events of the reception right through the cutting of the cake and rescuing the top for posterity.
We certainly intend to visit your restaurant the next time we are in Seattle. Please feel free to show this letter to any perspective clients whose situation may be similar to ours. This letter is proffered in hopes the other anxious parents, brides and bridegrooms may discover one source of easing the hassle of their own wedding reception.
Best Wishes,
Mike and Terry Strub
John: Thank you so much for making my party such a great event; the food was incredible, the service impeccable, your presence and thoughtfulness (without those plates of food you ushered to Karen and me half way through the party, we might have keeled over later that night) warm and greatly appreciated.
I am only a little sad that my intention was to have you and family party with us, not work the party. But since you did, you deserve our heartfelt commendations and appreciation. You and the crew were really fabulous. Please let Kate, Brad and Justin know that we thought they were fabulous, too.
